Canon MP258 driver cannot be installed
Got a new canon 3-1 printer-copy-scan. Canon MP258
The problem was the driver included in the dvd is not installing properly. Stupid #1!
When it reached the printer selection window, this what happened:
1. printer detected.. wait for installation..
2. processing installation.. please wait a few more moments.
3. the printer is not detected. check the connection..
How stupid was that? It detected the printer but when it started to install the driver it can't be detected. I tried it 4 times.
So, the solution:
Download the printer driver from Canon website.
Stupid #2
When I try to download the driver for MP Navigator EX ver 3.04 from this location:

(http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/1/0200000881/01/mpnexwin304ea23-2.exe)
After reading 95% of the file, it stopped. See the pix below:
I spent 1 hour downloading the file - 3 times.
The biggest problem was Canon are not providing online (chat) support.
