The Big "A", here I come.
On September 17, I will be joining The Big "A". It is one of the largest consulting company. The requirement process took two months.
One of their recruitment agent called me sometime in July and interviewed me over the phone. She just confirmed the personal information from my resume.
After a week she called me again for a technical interview at their office in Mandaluyong. The questions were really technical. I was just lucky that a day before the interview I read the fundamentals of .Net development. It helped me alot. And the interviewer even told me that if it was not their process to conduct several interviews, he would have hire me that very moment.
And so the 3rd interview came in. It was a situational interview conducted in their office in Makati. I have no idea what a situational inteview is so I google-d about it a night before the actual interview. The interview took about 1.5 hours. Nosebleed again.
Final interview. The interview will be in GT Tower. It was just like a chat. A not so-formal interview. The interviewer just briefed me about the company, their processes, etc.
After a week or two, I received their offer. The salary is not so-high (but acceptable) so I emailed back a counter proposal increasing their offer of 5 thousand. My counter proposal was denied, they said it is the only salary they can offer. Since the salary is just fine I accepted it thinking that it is still a good company to work for. If all else fails at least I was once an employee of a big multinational company and I can use that in finding a job outside the country.
