Warning to Profriends clients who issued cheques addressed to PAG-IBIG.
If you'd remember, or atleast for only some clients, PF said that they're gonna collect the first 24 months of amortization, that is fine. That means the 24 cheques are addressed to them. Aside from that they also asked for another set of cheques addressed to PAGIBIG telling that THEY are the ones to forward to cheques to pagibig. From their own month you would have an assurance that you'd never be delayed in payments provided your bank account has money in it of course.

But shit happened.
After the 24th month they NEVER forwarded the cheques to pagibig. Which resulted my property in default. I only noticed it when I checked my bank account that it ceased deducting money. From the pagibig point of view I was not paying a thing for 2 months.

I tried calling PF head office in mandaluyong but no one, not a single call has been answered for almost 1 month that everyday I tried.

At the same time, I asked my wife to go to Imus office to inquire about the situation. These people just give us the receipt of the last 4 months of my payments. But not a word about my chequed not being cleared by pagibig.

When I came back to PH I went to Imus office myself. The person I talked with said that my cheques will be taken out and will be returned to me. What the fuck that means Profriends? For over 2 months nobody informed us what's happening. These careless developer never informed us that Im gonna pay directly or settled directly with pagibig myself. Its 2 months. Hadn't I noticed it myself and went on, my property would have been foreclosed because of the carelessness and unprofessionalism of this Profriends! Whats wrong with these people?

And so I went to their headoffice and talked to their manager. From the very beginning I started business with them I wanted to talk to the manager but never the front desk allowed me.
Finally I met her, I told her everything I wanna say, bursted out my anger. She seems cool and listened to me, anyway.

At the end I just asked her to refund the penalty I paid to pagibig.

Beware of this developer.

March 21, 2011 umuwi ako ng Pilipinas at pinuntahan ang Profriends Head Office sa Mandaluyong para i-follow-up ng personal ang problema ko sa napakagandang trabaho nila sa unit ko sa Montefaro.
Sa kabutihan ng kanilang serbisyo at napaka understanding at professional na pagtanggap ay ni hindi ko man lang ako hinarap ng officer ng Move-In department. Imagine, after 9 months ng una akong nagreklamo ni hindi man lang ako hinarap. At ang sabi sa email na ipinadala ko sa kanila ay hindi nila natanggap. Sinong ang ginagago nitong mga 'to?

Ayun, ibinigay ko na lang ang printout ng email ko.. At talagang hindi ako hinarap ng kahit na sino (except sympre sa front desk).

Ang sabi daw ng officer eh tatawagan nalang ako after 3 weeks. Ibinigay ko ang number ko sa abroad at ngaun nga, 4 weeks na wala paring tawag. Mga )#$ talaga mga to. Akala ko yung mga engineer lang sa Montefaro, yun pala hanggang head office walang kakwentakwenta ang serbisyo.

If you've read my older posts here - profriends sucks n time and profriends sucks nth time then I would think you gonna feel my frustration with this developer.

So, as written in my previous posts I reported my concern back in October and until now they are still outstanding.

For me to be heard by their head office I wrote an email to them in Feb 21 2011 at 'marketing@profriends.com' but it just bounced back as if it's not existing. I got the email address from their website, I don't know why it bounced back.

So, the same day I sent the same email to 'mmsaniel@profriends.com' hoping I'll get an answer or even just a confirmation that they receive my mail. I got the second email address when I called them weeks ago to report my concerns. They were just keep telling me that they will inform the onsite engineer to attend to my concerns.

By the way, I learned from my wife that they already fix the kitchen door on Jan 20. A day before I sent the email. From then, they did not come back to fix the other things. (leaked in the wall and gaps in between window and the window frame). It's a month already and 4 months since October that I first reported the issue.

I don't know. I am frustrated. They are not attending to their clients concern. It just justified the content in my email. That they are only after the money. After that, it's the clients problem. They are opposite of what's written in their website - excellence, quality, service, commitment and most of all respect. They don't respect their clients.

Next, I'll post all the pictures I got. Maybe somebody out there would like to see those photos on how they are doing things.

Profriends - Montefaro sucks nth times

eto na naman ang mga putanginang engineer at contractor sa Montefaro..
after 7 weeks na nagreklamo ako, 1 palang ang nagagawa sa 4 na hinihingi ko..
imagine 7 weeks!!! putanginang mga 'to.. samantalang kumpleto at on-time ako magbayad pero 'tong mga putanginang 'to eh kupal magtrabaho.. ang gusto lang ng mga 'to eh kumita!
Kung hindi lang sayang ang pagod at oras at pera, isosoli ko ang unit ko..
Hindi na bumalik after ng 2 weeks na ginawa ung isa kong reklamo.. tangina talaga!

Tinawagan ko ang opisina sa mandaluyong, ayun i-follow up na lang daw nila.. putangina kupal din 'tong management ng profriends, ang dami dami nilang narereceive na reklamo pero wala silang ginagawang action. palibhasa pera lang ang habol..

tangina, akala nyo siguro may maganda kayong maririnig saken pag nagtatanong mga kaibigan ko? WALA!
tangina, ipinakita ko sa mga kaibigan ko yung unit ko, ayun hindi na sila kukuha..

This is about the SUPERSURF 50 of Globe Tattoo. You can surf unlimited for 24 hours - yes but - as long as you didn't reach 1 GB data transfer.

Now, what I am writing here is how inefficient and incorrect their system is in calculating the 1GB download data transfer.
Here's my email to them.

This is with regard to Ticket yesterday.
The problem: your system does not reset its statistics on downloaded data.

What happened:

I subscribed to your SUPERSURF. After 4 hours or so I received a notification saying that I cannot further surf because I reached the limit of 1GB. That is impossible because I am only surfing the net, chatting - no download! The download transfer ( the green one) statistics shows that I only consumed 470.55MB and the message box says 493.40MB. But the Daily statistics shows I already consumed 1GB. Misleading right?! LUGI AKO NYAN.

I reported this incident on Oct 18 right after I received the notification.

My initial assumption:
Somehow, your system does not reset its counter for downloaded data until it reaches 1GB. Regardless whether a subscriber subscribes to SUPERSURF or uses regular rate, your counter continue to increment its value from its previous value.

My investigation:
To prove my point,

a. I took a screen shot of the application showing its current value. (16.69MB)
b. I subscribed to SUPERSURF
c. The download data increases without resetting its value to zero! (After 1 minute, it's 17.05MB)

BPI Direct and how they are losing their future clients

Their website's About Us page captures my interest. They aim to a paperless, convenience way of banking - especially designed for a techonology-savvy like me.
BPI Direct Savings Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), is the Philippines’ first internet bank operating in a generally paperless environment with no defined geographical boundaries. It is a testament to BPI’s commitment to deliver the highest standard of banking convenience through the ingenuity of technology and creative management.

BPI Direct empowers its customers, including Filipinos around the globe and the new generation in this electronic age, to be in full control of their finances as it made banking available 24/7, wherever they may be. Truly, their bank away from home.

But are they for real? I guess not. I've tried to open a joint account in this bank and they didn't show any interest. They didn't even reply to my queries.
Here's the full story.

Before applying online, me and my wife went to BPI Nueno to open a BPI Direct account. The officer told us that we need to apply online. AND one of us must be in another country because BPI Direct's purpose is for OFW which transact online. WHAT??? Disgusted as this officer don't know what are their product we went out. We'll try to apply online.

October 12, Tuesday - I applied to open an account online through their website. I filled-up all the necessary information - everything. In the Step #4 'bpi express online member' section, I chose 'Only one of us is a member'. After clicking Continue button a pop-up page appear asking for my bpi express credential. After that, the page asked for other information - branch, address, etc.
When I hit the submit button an error page was displayed with message "An error has occured" (or something like that as I can't remember it, its 20 days past already). The error was so vague that it didn't give any description or maybe it was intended for security reason. Anyway, I tried two more times and the same error appeared.
I called them through 89-100.
and report what happened. The guy that I spoke with told me to try to open an account from the bpiexpressonline. The same error appeared. And so I call them again. This time a lady. As I was telling her what happened I am checking my email. There were some email with subject 'BPI Direct Account Opening'. The application for new account has been successful it just that their website doesn't giving any helpful message. Hmn how bad was that?

I went through their email. It said that I need to reply to confirm my intention of opening an account with them. And so I did.

The next day, I am expecting email or call from them since they are claiming for fast and hassle-free banking. Nothing. And so I called them to follow-up about my application. The officer gave a reference number and told me that she already instructed the officer assigned for account opening. I told her to priority my application as I am going abroad. I'd use the BPI account for remittance.

Days passed. No calls. Nothing.

Oct 16, Saturday. I tried to call them through payphone (landline). But payphone in Imus sucks. No 1-800 allowed. Malayo kami sa bayan at gagastos pa ako ng 100 para sa pinakamalapit na pldt payphone. Why can't we call from mobile without being charged? It's another story, anyway.

And so I called them through my mobile. Their 89-100 sucks. Sub-menus contains same menu as in the top-level one. As I am using mobile phone, I directed to 'Lost card' menu. I gave the officer the reference number and told her to call me back as I don't have enough prepaid load. She said she can't do that since she's for 'lost card' concerns only. She redirected me to concern officer. I thought I am going to talk to the concern officer right after she dropped me. I was wrong she redirected me again to main menu. Sshh! My phone hung-up. No more load.

I went to my pc. Fired up my email and sent a follow-up mail to them. I reiterate that I am going to use the account for remittance.

Oct 18, Monday. There was an email from Ms. her name>.

Greetings from BPI Direct!
This is regarding your online application.
Please provide name of co depositor as such is not stated per application made.
Kindly take note that co depositor should have applied on line as well.

WTF! My co-depositor's name was not stated? Does your online form has a facility to input such? None! And, to apply online? WTF again! If we're going to choose from the 3 options in Joint Account 1] none of us 2] both of us 3] one of us. If option 3 is chosen my account will still be used and no other way to input my co-depositor's name even if she initiated the application! Don't you know that BPI officers!? It's your system! Why just can't you entertain us in one of your BPI bank and we'll just show you the requirements you need!

And so I explained her my point. Nonetheless, I still provided her with the details of my co-depositor. I reiterate [again] that I need the account immediately as I am leaving Thursday.

No more calls. No more emails. Nothing. They are not interested for new account. Tanginang banko yan!

ATM withdrawal in Singapore using Philippine-issued ATM

As long as your ATM has Cirrus, Maestro, Visa or Plus logo there is no problem withdrawing your money in Singapore - local currency.

I have a BPI and Metrobank ATM where I put my allowances when I come to Singapore. It's not so safe to bring cash nowadays. It might be safe in SG but how about in the Philippines while you are on your way to the airport? ;p

But there's a limitation in the amount you can withdraw. For BPI it's 20, 000 php per day. If you are going to choose SGD1000 to withdraw from ATM menu in Singapore you'll get an error message telling that you don't have enough balance.

I have not try Metrobank yet, though.

From what I have experienced the peso-singapore dollar exchange rate is low.

1st withdrawal it's 35.23 php to a SGD
2nd - it's 34.55 php to a SGD
for informational message, like, the error I got I was charged 22 php
for successful balance enquiry I was charged 43 php

It will eat your money. Need to have a better way to transfer/carry money from one country to another.

eto ang worst kasi ung kisame sa isang kwarto tumatagas na ang tubig.. baka bumagsak na..
tumawag ako sa mga number na naka store saken - 09209015128, 09228940032, 09276289434, 09278971349 - taena lahat di nagri-ring.. tawag naman ako sa number ng guard sa montefaro - hindi rin nagri-ring... taena ang layo pa naman ng engineer office sa unit ko..
tas, monday around 9 kahit umuulan pa pumunta ako sa office para ireklamo.. OO daw tatawagan nila ung sub-contractor. kinuha ko narin ung number nila..
yung number sa guardhouse taena wala na daw ung dati kasi na-sim lock.. taena pano pag emergency.. nak ng puta.. baket di nila ipaalam sa lahat ng unit ang bagong number nila.. homeowners naman nagbabayad sa kanila..
hintay ako 11 wala.. 1 pm tumawag ako.. walang sumasagot.. text ako.. maya nagreply - oo daw sinabi na nila..

Canon MP258 driver cannot be installed

Got a new canon 3-1 printer-copy-scan. Canon MP258

The problem was the driver included in the dvd is not installing properly. Stupid #1!

When it reached the printer selection window, this what happened:
1. printer detected.. wait for installation..
2. processing installation.. please wait a few more moments.
3. the printer is not detected. check the connection..

How stupid was that? It detected the printer but when it started to install the driver it can't be detected. I tried it 4 times.

So, the solution:
Download the printer driver from Canon website.

When I try to download the driver for MP Navigator EX ver 3.04 from this location:

Last October 4 2010, sa Land Bank sa Los Banos Laguna , tinanong ko yung gwardya kung anong oras ang bukas ng opisina nila.
Me: boss, anong oras nagbubukas ang opisina?
Guard on Duty: (sa antipatikong tono) 8:00am pero 8:30 pa kayo pwedeng pumasok kasi kumakain pa ang empleyado.

not sure if Land Bank is 100% government-owned pero kung government-owned sya eto masasabi ko "magtrabaho kayo ng tama sa oras!"

Ang layo layo ng pinang gagalingan namin para sa pag aayos ng dokumento sa lupa. Ang layo layo ng opisina para sa buong Region 4. Yung iba galing pang Mindoro, Quezon tas pupunta ng Laguna para lang makarinig ng ganyan! Mga inutil!

Isa pang istupido yung opisina sa Land Bank Gumaca.
Dahil nga malayo ang Laguna, mas mabuti sana kung pwedeng kumubra ng kabayaran sa Gumaca. Ang sabi: "Hindi pwedeng kumubra dahil expired ang SPA, kelangan ng pirma galing Laguna."

Eto nga (ung post sa taas) Ang sabi: expired ang SPA at kelangan ulet ng bagong SPA pirmado ang kupal na nanloko sa pagbebenta ng lupa sa parents ko. Ayun ang sabi "kelangan ng bagong SPA na may pirma nung tao".
Putanginang Gumaca yun, hindi nilinaw kung anong gagawin. Kung ipinaliwanag ng ayos disin sana'y hindi napagod ang parents ko, hindi nasayang ang oras pag punta ng Laguna. Mga putanginang mga inutil! ang gusto lang sumweldo!

My inbox is flooded with emails asking for my resume and after years of turning down opportunities here and abroad, I finally decided to accept one.

Just got a job interview with an SG MNC today. I just hope that they will hire me. They are into systems integration line of business also so the environment will be similar with my current company.

I am currently employed with the best company in the world surrounded with the best people in the industry but I've come to realize that at the end of the day it is the take home pay that matter. My finances grew up exponentially - house amortization, fare since my house is far from Manila, tuition, credit cards that I used to purchase appliances, debts, bills, etc. I have no extra cash on hand. And sometimes I borrow money just to have allowance until the next pay day comes. But still I can say my salary is not too low - my tax is about 12oK / annum.

Just got my copy of Office 2010 Pro Plus for x86 and x64 intaller from MSDN. Globe tattoo cooperated with me for the first time by giving me 1.2mbps download rate.

The new Office 2010 loads fast, has crisp UI and cool ribbons and respond fast.

repaired CQ40-340TU is now loaded with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

Now that I got my CQ40-340 from HP service center, I loaded it up immediately with Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate. I downloaded the installer months ago from MS through my MSDN subscription.

The installation went fine. The amount of speed gained from using Vista Ultimate 32 bit is significant. But the rating is 3.4 (can't remember, it's weeks ago as of this writing).

I went to HP drivers website ( http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3887301 ) to download all the drivers needed. I installed each of them but found several issues:

SouthLink Water in Cavite Sucks

Southlink won't give you advise that they'll interrupt the water service due to maintenance. Mga tarantado talaga. Pano ka makakapag ipon ng tubig kung bigla na lang mawawala. At ginagawa pa yan 2 beses ng weekend at isang weekdays. Kung tatawagan naman yung number na nakalagay sa water bill eh walang sumasagot. Tang-inang mga 'to kung may choice lang kami eh di sana hindi kami sanyo nagpakabit! At kadalasan ang tubig nila amoy kalawang at nitong mga nakaraang buwan eh kahit 12 midnight eh parang pinakuluan ang tubig sa sobrang init.

machine won't boot

Currently in internet cafe downloading windows PE. My laptop got corrupted. It won't boot. At first the drives were still there but when I tried to install Win7 in drive D, it won't install then all drives disappeared. Weird's that when Im trying to load Vista installer it tells that I have Win Vista installed and need to be repaired. But it just failed telling that "it can automatically repair my machine".

I need to get all my pictures and personal files before bringing the machine in HP service center. Service center does not recover files. My warranty will expire on May 13 and I need to get this Win PE. Hopefully it can recover my files.

Makapag ipon para may pambili ng gamit sa bagong bahay.- WALANG IPON. Pero nakabili na ako ng ibang gamit ng lumayas kami sa Pasay.

After releasing the witway application in my own website - witway.tinyshed.com for quite a while, I noticed that only few alumni are using it. And so, when we migrated the Sisters of Mary website from Linux to Windows hosting, I re-created the WITWAY application and deployed it together with the mother website. It can now be seen here - http://witway.asmsi.org.ph . Unlike the original application hosted in my own website which was created using Virtual Earth as map api, I now used Google Map + few jQuery in the new witway application.

Walang kwentang SUN Broadband - Service and Tech Support

Buong 3rd week ng August naka night shit ako kaya sa araw nalang nag-oonline. Kaso wala akong mahagilap na signal ng SUN (broadband), meron kaso EDGE/ GPRS lang. Tinatawagan ko ang tech support nila ngunit kung hindi busy ay habambuhay naman akong naghihintay na may dumampot ng tawag ko. Tangina nauubos ang load ko.

1st week ng September may nakausap din akong tech support (sa wakas). Ayun todo explain ako sa sitwasyon. It-trouble shoot daw at kelangan nasa harap ako ng PC. Sinabi ko ng nasa opisina lang ako at wala naman akong landline, kung tumawag man ako using mobile eh nauubos lang ang load ko kakahintay ng sasagot sa kanila. Tatawagan nalang daw nila ako at binigyan pa ako ng ticket number (daw) para in case na magfollowup ako eh madaling makita ang record.

Regular shit na ako ulet kaya internet na naman sa gabi. Minsan nakakapasok ako pero sandali lang eh mapuputol na naman. Zero ang download rate kahit HSDPA ang signal. Tinatawagan ko ang tech support pero umaga na eh wala akong makausap. Putangina!

2nd week ng September. Ni-follow up ko yung problema kasi walang tumatawag at walang pagbabago sa signal at dl speed. Ayun na naman si kausap ko, puro tanong ng details. Tangina sabi ko hanapin ang record ko at andun lahat ng tinatanong nya (paulit ulit bwisit!) . I try ko daw speedtest.net para matest yung speed eh gagu - google nga na walang laman ang page nagti-timeout na, yun pa kayang speedtest. Sinabi nya may inaayos lang daw sa area ko kaya ganun ang signal/behaviour ng reception ko. By 3rd week daw eh ok na ang lahat. May tatawag daw saken para sa resolution ng ticket ko nung 1st week.

4th week, walang pagbabago. walang tumatawag. Mga putanginang Tech Support ng SUN.

1st week ng October, diko mahagilap ang tech support - puro waiting lang. Nagta-try ko sa option 1, 2 and 4 ng hotline nila. May nakausap ako at pagkatapos kung maglitanya eh ipinasa lang ako sa makakasagot daw ng problema ko. Tangina, tagal kong naghintay ng taong makakausap di rin pala sya ang kelangan ko. Ayun, si pinasahan na ang kausap ko. Tangina basag basag, diko masyadong maintindihan ang boses pero pag yung adverstisement nila eh ang linaw. Bwisit. Ulet matapos kong maglintanya eh hindi daw sya ang sasagot ng problema ko. Putanginang bobo talaga, eh di sana sinabi nya agad. Mga gagu! Tawag daw ako sa tech support talaga - option 3.

Nung isang gabi, kagabi at ngaun, mga putangina mag-isa lang ba ang tech support ng putanginang SUN Broadband? Walang sumasagot - puro 'please wait please wait'. Tanginang mga 'to, buong magdamag akong nasa linya eh walang sumasagot saken. Tanginang mga gagu!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

My name is Ma. Clarisa Arevalo Samson. I am a mother of two, named Gwyneth Ann and George Daniel. For the meantime, we are living in my parent’s house located at Blk 8 Lot 43,Barangay San Rafael 1, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan,Philippines.

I wrote to you this letter to ask for financial help for our baby George Daniel. My son Daniel was born with a life threatening disease called “Biliary Atresia”. It is a congenital condition characterized by the absence or closure of the bile ducts that drain bile from the liver. Biliary Atresia is a progressive inflammatory process that begins very soon after birth. In Daniel’s case, he was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia when he was already 2 months old. During that time, there was already a significant amount of damage to his liver. White blood cells invaded the ducts, which became damaged or closed completely. Bile was trapped inside the liver and rapidly caused liver cirrhosis.

An operation called “Kasai Method” was done on Daniel by Surgeons Dra. Minas, Dr. Baluga and Dr. Miguel at the UST Hospital last June 10, 2009. It is an operation that removes the damaged biliary ducts outside the liver. Then, the small intestine is directly attached to the liver at the spot where bile is found or expected to drain. This procedure is not a cure but rather a temporary solution to be able to give Daniel some more time to find the necessary funding for his operation and the matching liver type. Unfortunately, although the operation was done, his liver continued to fail. Our doctors told us that there is no other course but to have a liver transplant.

Unfortunately, liver transplant is not yet available locally but it can be done in Taiwan for P3 million pesos. This amount is simply beyond the means of our family. If my son will not be able to have a liver transplant soon, he will die. All we want is to see our son live that’s why we are appealing to your charity and compassion.

SUN Broadband also sucks!

I was wrong when I wrote that Sun works best among other USB internet modem (Smart and Globe Tattoo). Just like the two other modem it will just promise you better signal and bandwidth. Since the first two modem specially Globe Tattoo disappointed me, I turn to subscribe to Sun Unlimited broadband. During the demo and the first couple of weeks it really standup compare to those two. But after a month the sucker stops working. For the whole of week of Aug 17-21 at around 12 - 5pm I can only get Edge signal and download speed of 0-10kbps. I tried calling Sun tech support but I can't contact them - the line was always busy. Putanginang tech support yan!

I was on a night shift that time. And so I called them when I get to the office. They said they can't help me unless I am in front of my PC. Eh tanginang yan, di nga sila makontak pag tinatawagan sila eh.

Aug 31, around 11pm I tried to connect to the internet again. I got HSDPA full signal but the speed aws inconsistent and most of the time zero kbps. Again, I tried calling them but the line was busy. Putangina talaga!!!!

Wala ng matinong provider sa pilipinas.

smart broadband usb prepaid kit performance

I borrowed my friend's Smartbro usb to test whether it will work better than Globe Tattoo. And yes, it was better than Tattoo. But I was only online for about 1.5 hours so I can't say if it will really play better in the long run.

I'll uploade some screenshots of Smartbro USB's performance. But not now, I am using Sun Broadband and its upload rate is just 2kbps!!!

Just got a new Globe Tattoo Broadband Kit - a freebie from my new Compaq CQ40-340. And I don't recommend it. The speed is tooo sloooooooooooow. Even if the signal is full HSDPA, the download rate still stays at zero. Sometimes, the signal changes to WCDMA, but still the same - performance is so poor.

The worst thing about this is that they keep on charging you even you can't enjoy the service. I lost some of my load because I keep on waiting and hoping that the signal will be better and the download speed will rise up but to no avail.

There are times, though, that I get a 20kb to 200kb download rate at startup. But after connecting for about 30 minutes the download and upload rate become zero - even the signal indicates that I am in WCDMA or HSDPA.

I have contacted Globe Tech Support but they just told me that they can't do anything about it. Meaning, I should look for other provider.

BTW, I'm located near San Andres St./ Linao St.

2008 has just passed and I can say it was a good year for me.

Napagtapos ko na ang aking asawa ng kursong nursing.. nakapag exam na rin..
I bought new house and lot.. aw.. nakapag loan pala through pag-ibig, but I am still in the stage of paying the equity until August this year..
I bought my own hosting account and have deployed my own blog and website(http://tinyshed.net/ , http://witway.tinyshed.net/ , http://yafbg.tinyshed.net/ , http://mattoxxavier.net/ ).
I got 2 credits cards and the credit limit were not bad. Had I not employed in a big company then this blood-sucking credit cards companies will not issue me card until now. (ano daw?) amfotah.. dati ayaw akong bigyan... taenang mga 'to palagay nyo saken walang pambayad??? kelangan ko lng ng card for online transaction.. ungas!

While witway has been online for more than a month now, there were only 12 registered users up to date. Well, actually there were 20 in the database but the remaining 8 didn't confirm their email yet to progress with the rest of the registration process. I checked the traffic and there were many hits coming from the asmsi site. Meaning, asmsis were visiting the site, they just don't want to become a member. Maybe because witway didn't capture their interest. They find the site boring. For me, as a developer, I don't go for the design. I want an application that runs. Sure enough witway has no good web design to offer but the basic functionality to search for batchmate, whereabouts and branch is there. Zooming in and out of the map alone gives idea who-is-where-thing. Which is actually far more better than the asmsi search feature. Once they found who they are looking for they can even dig deeper to view their complete profile which contains other information.

Well, I am not expecting anything anyways. I just want to create website to learn new technology.

For the development side I am planning to port the site to Silverlight application. SL is cool. I would also used WCF and the .NET 3.5 framework.

So much to learn.

last wednesday habang ako'y papauwi galing trabaho sumakay ako sa bus.. bukas ang tv nung bus - tuned sa 24 oras.. pero bukas din ang radyo nila at mas hamak na malakas ang radyo kesa sa sounds ng tv.. pagkakatapos maningil ng pasahe ni konduktor sa mga bagong sakay na pasahero balik pwesto sya sa harapan at tutok na tutok sa tv, nahihirapan kc syang pakinggan kung anong nasa palabas.. eh kung dangan ba naman syang ungas eh di sana pinatay na lang yung radio nila para yung tv na lang ang bukas.. amfosah!!!

Sagada trip

Dec 5, 6 at inabot ng 7, my high schoolmates went to sagada, mt. province.. sarap dun malamig hindi katulad dito sa manila na puro init - init ng araw, sasakyan, ulo, mukha, singit, lahat mainit.. amf!

pano pumunta sa sagada via baguio?
ayun punta ka sa baguio, tas sa Dangwa terminal may bus dun going to sagada - GL Bus ung sinakyan namen.. every 2 hours may stop over..from baguio 2 liko lang hanggang sagada, liko sa kanan, liko sa kaliwa for 6 hours.. ahehe

maraming guest house sa sagada, may fone dun cguro before going there tawag muna for reservation.. sosyal nga dun may internet cafe samantalang sa province namen wala.. amf.. walang tindang yelo sa sagada wag kang umasa..

anong meron sa sagada?
looonnnggg and winding (windang) road, parang paulet ulet lang ang dinadaanan.. hanging coffin, kabundukan ng sierra madre xmpre.. falls at ang porno cave.. porno yan tingnan mo mga pictures.. ganda sa cave, pag pumasok ka dun magdasal ka na na wag uulan baka magka flash flood at wag lilindol.. gudlak pag nanyari un.. lalim nung cave siguro mga 15 floors ng isang gusali ang lalim nun..

Last June or July naghanap-hanap kami ng house and lot. May pinuntahan kami sa Imus, malapit na sa Dasma. Amf! mura nga nung house para namang classroom na magkakadikit at nasa 100 meters yata ang isang block. wahehe.

May nakita kami sa Binan, Laguna. Ok na sana yung place, malapit sa mall, palengke, lapit din sa SLEX pagkaakyat lang ng Mamplasan Exit. Likod sya bale ng Brent International School. Kung saan ko balak ko pag-aralin ang aming bibong-bibong Mattox. Kaya lang ang liit nung magiging house, 52 sqm. lang yata un. Kaya ayun di namen kinuha.

May nakita rin kami sa Carmona. Dun maganda ung mga house, maganda rin ung presyo, di kaya ng aking kabuhayan showcase. Saka diko kakayaning mag byahe araw araw papasok ng opisina. Layo kaya nun, tapos madalang ang sasakyan, ilang palipat-lipat pa pag gabi.

Tapos may nakita na kami sa Imus na naman, ok ung itsura nung house, mejo mura compare sa iba. Gudlak na nga lang sa traffic, ampoohtah. So, ayun napagdesisyunan na yun nalang ang kunin. ( di ko kabisado ung description) .

Eto ngaun ang nakakabwisit.

1 Sa bawat tripping na ginagawa namen, ang mga bwisit na agent palaging late, from 30 mins to 1 hour.. punyeta talaga.. kung ako lang mag-isa ang nakikipag kita sa mga yun, lalayasan ko na. Sila na nga ang makikinabang, sila pa ang late palagi..

2 Fast forward. Sometime in July, mga 3rd week, nakapagpa reserve na kami - 10K. Ayun. Sabi ni Agent, asikasuhin na nila ung iba pang aasikasuhin kung ano man yun, bigyan na lang kami ng feedback. Nakapagbigay na kami ng ibang requirements. 9 months to pay lang daw ung equity. Sabi nya, gawa lang daw ako ng letter requesting to extend the payment. OK na daw un. So, nagbigay ako ng letter stating the request to extend the payment of equity from 9 to 15 months. OK na daw un. So, setting pretty naman ako. Wala akong ka ide-idea kung kelan talaga ako magbabayad ng first payment ko. Umaasa ako kay Agent sa status and information.

Around 4th week of August, nag text si Developer, naniningil na ng first payment of downpayment at due na daw ako nung August 20 pa. Nakalagay pa sa text na 9 months to pay lang daw ung downpayment. Ang labo, kasi nag-usap na kami ni Agent at nagbigay na ako ng letter requesting na gawing 15 months.

Sa madaling sabi yung letter na ibinigay ko sa assistant ni Agent ay hindi nakarating sa Developer. AMFOTAH!

Dahil nakalagay sa text ni Developer na August 20 un payment, at definitely past due na ako, tinanong ko si Agent kung pde pa mabago ung first payment ko. Kasi wala naman silang sinasabi kung kelan talaga yung magiging first payment ko ng equity sa haba ng panahon since nun nakapagbigay ako ng reservation. POTAH.

Sabi ni agent PWEDE daw mabago ung start ng first payment basta may letter NA NAMAN. Mag-fax lang daw ako ng letter ulet- for extension. This time ginawa ko na lang 12 months ung request saka ung movement ng first payment from August 20 to October 20.

Around 3rd week ng Septermber (after na yata ng 20 un) , pumunta ako kay Developer. Yung letter na pinax ko, ay hindi pala na approved, AMFOTAH, walang man lang nagsabi sken.

sa Sept pa ang first payment ko.

October 8, pumunta ulet ako kay Developer kasama na si Agent. Na approved ung movement to 12 months payment pero kelangan ko daw talagang bayaran ung August 2o equity. Hindi daw namo-moved ung first payment. Ibig sabihin 2 months na akong past due. PUNYETA. Napakalabo ng usapan. Gusto ko ng mag back out nung time na yun. Hindi talaga ako magbabayad ng 2 months. Napakalabo! So, sinabi ni Agent sagutin nya na yung isang month basta bayaran ko ung first month. Bale sa kanya ung Sept 20. Bayaran ko nlng daw xa on the 13th month.

Gumawa rin ako ng letter to move and start the 3rd payment of equity to November 5, instead of Oct 20.

So, mukhang ok na.

November 5, magbabayad na ako ng 3rd equity kasama na ang pagbibigay ng sangkaterbang documents, AMFOTAH talaga, daming pinirmahan, nosebleed diko na binasa ung iba. Nung magbabayad na ako, sabi ni Developer past due na raw ako sa 2ng payment ko. *)$*)#$ Agent yan, buset... Umuwi na lang ako, hindi ko babayaran ung 2nd payment dahil may usapan kami ni Agent. Di baleng lumaki yung penalty nun.

Kinabukasan ko na xa natawagan dahil di ko mahagilap ung number nya. Ang sabi na naman di nya raw nagawang bayaran, sa Nov 20 daw nya babayaran. Ampoohtah. Cge lang hintayin ko ung Nov 20. Pag di na naman nya binayarang mukhang mapipilitan akong mag back-out. Kumusta naman ung 22K, pano ko kaya makukuha yun.

Nov 24 tinawagan ko si Agent para kamutahin ang kanyang pagbabayad. amputanginang agent yan dami na namang dahilan.. punyeta talaga!.. sabi nya ok lang naman daw ung magtagal.. ang importante lng un first payment, hindi nmn daw i-cacancel ni developer pagbili ko. putangina talaga..

dec 9, binayaran ko na ung 2 months ko.. bale may natira pang 1 month. punyeta kcng agent wala akong maaasahan sa putanginang yun.. kinausap ko si developer na wag mabigyan ng commission si agent kc wala namang mabuting nagawa sken.. mali mali ang impormasyon.. walang kwenta.. sabi ni developer gumawa daw ako ng letter about dun..amfotah, gagawa ba ako? nosebleed na naman un.. putangina talaga.. ayun at kung hindi ko pa daw nabayaran ung 3 months past due ko ika cancel na ung pagbili ko at wala na akong habol dun sa mga nauna kong payment.. hayuf talagang agent un, kausap ko lang last time hindi daw makacancel kahit ilang months na past due.. punyeta xa!

Nweiz, here are the updates.

I won't be using MSSQL 2005 inamo. The data might be too large for the capacity that my web host allowed for the MSSQL database which is only 200 mb per database. I will be using MySql instead. The size is unlimited as long as it will not exceed 100GB. :)

I will not be using SubSonic also. Although I am not so sure but SubSonic does not work with medium trust level shared hosting. (?)

For the development side, the registration, login, search and profile editing were done. I am yet to test the Forgot Password, yet to start the View Profile page. After that I'll deploy the beta version. After beta, I'll work with Advanced Search and other fixes that will come out from the beta version. Hopefully Beta will be delivered this month of November.

WITWAY: Update

Nakawala na ako ulet sa aking katamaran. Sinimulan ko na ulet gawin ang aking nasimulan.

Technology aspect, (parang ice pick) I'll be using ASP.NET 3.5, C# 3.0, LINQ, MSSQL 2005. I'd like to use MVC pattern but it would consume more time because I don't know that yet. Another technology that I'd like to use is Silverlight but same with MVC pattern I also don't know that yet.

Well, during the development, I found out that LINQ is not a piece of cake to use. Dumudugo ang ilong ko sa bwakanang joining and grouping techniques. Letse!

I also looked at SubSonic. This SubSonic creates the Data Access Layer of whatever database you have so the total development time of the entire application will be lessened. It is a great tool and a great help for the developer community.

Nga pala, I changed the look and feel of the site. I used the Indigo template by Arcsin.

So, that's it for the mean time. Take a look of the new design.

1/4 of my income goes to Philippine government

I am not the type of employee who always checks payslip every payday. It's only when I really need money that I check every detail of my compensation. And this last payday I realized that 1/4 of my hard-earned money goes to government. Yes, whooping xx% income tax. Ampoohtah! That's like I was in-charge of paying one government clerk every month.

Of course government need people taxes to survive but how an individual like me would feel if every single night when I watched news would only see corruption, red-tape. Put#(#&$#)! Those in middle class / working class are paying exact taxes right even before our hard-earned money gets in our pocket but these government officials, especially in higher position only think of themselves, on how to compensate the money they lost during the past election, on how to earn money out of projects, on how... etc. etc. Poohtah!

( sorry sa mga kakilalang kong government employees, hindi kayo yan, alam ko namang hindi kayo corrupt).

Mt. Pinatubo adventure

Last Sunday, September 14, umakyat kami ng Pinatubo kasama ko ang mga alumni ng SOM. Bale 16 kami lahat pero ung iba friendship ni binx at jesse. At 2am we left Cubao - maginaw. Malamig pala sa aircon bus lalo na pag nakasando lang. :D At 4am we were already at Capas. Jeep papuntang (diko alam kung anong lugar un, basta andun ung 4x4 na sasakyan papuntang bulkan). Masarap sa 4x4, kahit lubak lubak at batuhan eh naka 60kph yata si manong driver. After 4o minutes or so, nasa jump off na kami. Saktong nagliliwanag start na ng trek. Madali lang naman puro lakad lng sa batuhan. Ilog kasi yun, yun ung dinaanan ng lahar nun pumutok ung bulkan. Bale 9am nasa crater na kami.

Ayun, kunting pahinga, kain tapos bumaba kami sa mismong crater. Malamig ang tubig taliwas sa inaasahan ko na mainit. May kabahuan nga lang pero di masyado. Bigla ang lalim ng lawa. 2 meters pa lang sa pampang eh ampos-tao na kagad. Kaya ayun sa gilid lang kami. Mahirap ng mapariwara. :D Gusto sana naming mamangka eh ang kaso wla namang ung bantay ng bangka dun. Nakapadlock kaya di nmen magamit. At 12nn bumaba na kami. Maulan. Mas lalong madali ang pagbaba, syempre!

Nung nasa around 300 - 400 meters na lang bago dumating sa iniwan nmeng 4x4, akalain ba namang sabihin ni manong guide na magpahinga muna at hintaying humina ang agos ng tubig. Mejo lumakas kasi at delikado raw. Sabi ko naman eh kaya nmeng tawirin un, ska kung magtatagal pa eh mas lalong lalakas ang agos dahil umulan nga sa bundok. Pero ayun naghintay nga kami, hinintay narin namen ung iba nmen kasama. After 1.5 hours, tama ang aking hinala na mas lalakas nga ang agos, around 4pm narin so kelangan ng talagang umuwi. Alalay sa mga kababaihan at madadala ng agos.

Alas 5pm andun na kami sa naghihintay ng jeep. Ang shower ay 100 pesos sa malansng tubig. ampoohtah. Sinulet ko nln sa paghuhugas at pagtatanggal ng buhangin sa aking sapatos.

Last thursday we went to Naga to attend mass at Penafrancia church. Kasama ko family ko pati mga nanay namen. Enjoy naman ang pagpunta dun at sulit. Bale 4 na simbahan ung napuntahan namen. Franciscan, Cathedral, Penafrancia ska Basilica.

WITWAY.
This site will serve as a visual representation directory of the alumni of the Sisters of Mary - Philippines.

Initially during development, I am planning to use as sample data from batch 1998. Don't worry guys your privacy is in good hands. I won't sell your information to credit card companies nor I will sell your email to spammers. (But if the $ is right let me think about it.) :D

Features of the site includes:
1. Location mapping. Alumni address will be plotted into the map. Know who's where in the globe. We can have a visual picture of where our schoolmates are.
2. Directory search by name, by batch, by location (sorry there is no by gender). :D

Access Level
a. minimum access
- can only browse and search through the map
b. alumni access
- can view alumnus' profile (full name, location(only city and country), batch, branch, email, company/school, industry/field)
c. batch representative access
- can edit h/er batch mates' profile
d. super user access
- ako yun at wala ng iba

from level b - d, logging in is required

Security
0. State of the art security with cctv and satellite cameras. :D
1. At the minimum, no real name will be shown in the map only nickname, batch, branch, city/country and picture.
2. Full name will be shown in the 'profile' page when the alumnus logged in.
3. Alum's complete address is only visible to user with access B and up.
4. An alum has the option not to share his full profile. Meaning in the map, only city/country is visible, no more no less. He can still be searched, though, from the 'profile' page but full information will not be shown. Of course, level C and up can view h/er profile.
5. Editing of ones information is subject to validation of batch rep to minimize the posting of misleading data.

How to have an access?
1. An alumnus will fill up a web form with his full information. Valid email address is a must for it will be used as user ID. The batch rep will then validate the information submitted against the current database. Info must be highly identical to prove that the alumnus is the real s/he.
2. An email with hashed password will be sent to the alumnus confirming the validation of the submitted information.

Why batch representative?
1. Updating of info is very crucial, and as much as possible 100% correct. When updating will be done through this process, I believe, infos gathered is more reliable than letting everyone update h/er profile by h/er own. Hind naman kelangan i-C.I. mo xa. Dahil batchmate mo xa mas nakakahigit na alam mo kung totoo ba yung inilagay nyang information.

Who can have a batch representative access level
1. Anyone can volunteer to be a batch rep, but batch presidents approval is required.

Why needs president's approval?
1. Eh baka nman lahat na kayo naging batch rep, un lang maraming contacts and willing to help to become this project a success.

Benefits of this initiative
1. Gathering of info for the RETRI-RECALL project will be more effective and efficient. Why?
- there is a system - not like posting on the forum which is time consuming and not all required info is posted.
2. The database can be exported anytime for other ad hoc processing - again not like in the forum which needs to be encoded again to some spreadsheet.

Why I am doing this?
Trip ko 'to, walang basagan ng trip. :D

Why there are lots of wrong grammar?
1. paksyet! pati grammar pinakialamanan. Kaya nga hindi ako matanggap-tanggap sa call center dahil sa lintik na english na yan.

WITWAY: Where In The World Are You

While I was busy finding different location in Google Map, I realized that I can make an application wherein it will plot all the location of the alumni of the Sisters of Mary onto the map. Since there are lots of alumni abroad, I think it would be nice to have a graphical representation of their locations.

The application will be called WITWAY, short for where in the world are you? As simple as that.

Where in the world are you son and daughters of Fr. Al? How's life after four (4) years of living in a wonderful and unique institution with free quality education which our dearly love Fr. Al established?

I'm just finished changing the layout of this blog and adapted the WP-Polaroid Blogger Template. I saw the working template at Apol's blog and thought that it was cool. It takes me about an hour configuring my new layout.

No, not totally finished. I am yet to configure the links above the header and put some ad link. Also, I'll figure out my 2 google adsense are not displaying on the side. I'll consult to the adsense monster, este, master Apol.

I am currently reading two ASP.NET books as a preparation for ASP.NET 3.5 certification. Hope I pass. The other book, MapPoint in .NET is my reference for the project I am thinking that would be cool and somehow beneficial for the alumni of the Sisters of Mary. Sisters of Mary 2008 Birthday Celebration

Last August 17, alumni of the Sisters of Mary came back to their home at Silang, Cavite to celebrate the foundation day of the institution. Actually, the foundation date is August 15, they just celebrate it on the nearest Sunday so that more graduates could come. As the tradition goes, the graduates bring candies and chocolates for the students. The graduates and students share fun during the games and recreations.

The host for this year is our batch and we are thankful that the event went successful.

Nitong Mayo 2008, umatake ng sobra ang kanyang sakit at kinailangan nya na mahiga na lamang sa higaan. Sa kabila ng kanyang karamdaman ay ipinapakita nya pa rin ang pagiging masayahin at pagmamahal sa kanyang mga alaga. At nito ngang a-nueve ay namaalam na sya at umakyat sa langit. Kasama na nya doon sina Fr. Al - ang aming ama at nagtayo ng Sisters of Mary, at si Fr. Urrutia - ang aming chaplain noon sa Silang at Sta. Mesa.

I saw an ad looking for a C# developer. That should not catch my attention because that was normal. Every company is looking for software developers nowadays. What really pinned my eyes was the salary that the ad is offering - 60,000 British Pound equivalent to 5.15 million PhP. Wow! That's a big sum of cash. I should have sent my CV right away if only I can get out my current employer. I don't want to break my contract with my company. I never break any employment contract. I believe in the saying that 'don't burn the bridge'. IT world is a very small world. We don't know tomorrow who would be we were dealing with. I still have 13 months to brawl with them. Should I am not happy after that, I am free to go.

failed to climb Mt. Tarak sank at Matabungkay

Climbing Mt. Tarak is one of our training to become a full member of mountaineering club in my company. But because I was not able to attend the pre-climb meeting, the officers didn't allow me to go with the climb. Tsk tsk! kelan kaya magkakaroon ng make-up climb para makahabol ako. Kapag 'di ako nakapagmake-up climb, hindi na ko magiging member for this FY. Next year na lang ulet.

Sa halip na makaakyat, sumama na lang ako sa team building ng project ko - sa Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas. It's my first time to go with my team for a team building. I failed to attend previous team building held at Puerto Galera, Golden Sunset - Calatagan and several dinner and overnight stay at different hotel here in Metro Manila. Sagot pa naman ng company lahat ng gastos!

The beach is bad and full of corals and see weeds. We can't swim. The pool is dirty. The food is quite fine, though.

Climbing Mt. Lobo

To become a full member in our company's mountaineering club, we need to survive 3 training climbs. Our 1st minor climb is climbing Mt. Lobo (June 28-29, 2008).

Mt. Lobo is 1,007 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in the town of Lobo, Batangas. It's trail is divided into two. The first part involves wide trails, at times dense grasslands – which are during summer months burned in kaingin. It takes 3.5 hours and ends in Niyugan. There is a bahay kubo there where you can buy fresh fruits (pineapple, mango, avocado, buko). This is also the nearest water source from the campsite.

Then the next part involves woodlands, gradual steep trails in which you can hold on to branches and roots for support. After 1 hour from Niyugan you will reach the Bangkalan Peak where is also your campsite.

Like most of the mountains, the trail to the campsite would be slippery than usual when wet or during rainy season. Extra precaution is needed and the pacing of the ascent/descent would be much slower. Moreover, dehydration is possible during summer season so participants should have enough water to replenish lost fluids from the body.

Last April 19 and 20, I attended the BMC conducted by the Outdoor Club of our company.

Topics that were discussed on the first day includes:

what is mountaineering
principles of mountaineering
organizing a climb
basic equipments

ropemanship (overview)

On the second day, a demo on pitching a tent and lighting a stove was presented. Also, we jogged around the Sunken Garden at UP Diliman and did some stretching.

4. put-up a website that offers free advertisements, free job posting and the like
- eto mejo malapit sa katotohanan, pde ko 'to magawa. Kahit na madami ng naglipanang website na katulad nito, hindi naman siguro ako mawawalan ng visitors

5. put-up a porno site that offers online dating and live show
- eto matagal ko na talagang gusto gawin, wala lang pangpuhunan eh. Sa dami ng malilibog sa buong mundo, tiyak libong dolyar ang kaya nitong ihatid monthly.

Can't wait for my credit card

Two weeks ago I applied for HSBC credit card. And until now, wala pa rin.. ampoohtah! I'm going to use this card to purchase a domain and hosting plan. Excited na nga ako, ampoohtah naman pagkatagal dumating.

Nakakapagtaka lang dahil 3 years ago cardholder nila ako. Good payer naman ako. Pinaputol ko lang nuong mag-iisang taon na yung card ko para makaiwas sa annual fee. May records ako sa kanila eh baket ang tagal nilang aprubahan ngaun? Ampoohtah!

I also applied for EON debit card, pero sa bwakanang inang hotline ng Union bank na napaka hot dahil two weeks na akong tumatawag at palaging busy, wala akong makausap kung ano ng nangyari sa application ko. May nakausap naman ako through 892-0011 pero isang wala ring kwentang kausap. Walang kwenta dahil nung tinatanong ko about sa EON eh tawagan ko daw ung hotline nila. Eh tanga ampoohtah, busy nga palagi ung line!!! kaw, try mo tawagan ung 84-186. Pag may nakausap ililibre kita ng toknene. bwahehe!

Ayaw ko naman sa Citibank dahil simula nung mauso ang telepono eh tumawag na palagi ang bwakanang Citibank na yan at umabot na yata sa 1000 ang application ko sa kanila pero denied parin dahil daw wala akong maipakitang Proof of Billing at landline ek ek. Eh mabuti nga yung walang proof of billing ibig sabihin wala akong binabayaran diba? wahehe! mga bwisit! Mas malaki pa nga ang tax ko sa sweldo nung iba jan tapos ayaw nila akong bigyan ng card! bwahaha! joke lang baka utangan nyo ako!

godaddy thought I'm a netcriminal

A week ago, I bought an account with godaddy and it was as easy as abc. Alas, I told to myself I now have my permanent address on the net, not like squatting to any free provider like blogger. LOL.

After two days, I received an email stating that my account has been locked. Their reason was that my personal information in their database was different from the credit card I used to purchase the account. Too bad. But on the bright side, I knew they're serious in security and fraud prevention.

Naki-ride lang kc ako sa card ng Team Lead ko. Ang hirap palang maging mahirap na walang sariling credit card. amf!

After surfing the net. I now decided to use the ModPack for BlogEngine.Net for the MtAsmsi portal.

BlogEngine.Net is an open source .Net blogging project. It was designed using the current .Net framework.

ModPack for BlogEngine.Net is a customized BlogEngine.Net that works perfectly well with most hosting providers that has Medium Trust Level policy. Which is the case with GoDaddy where I am planning to host the would-be site of the Asmsi Mountaineers.

I will also try to incorporate the capability of Slide.Show for viewing of pictures. Slide.Show is a Silverlight application that provides an elegant photo sharing experience.

These projects are hosted at Codeplex, a popular hosting site for open source projects.

I will just find a template that will best fit into a mountaineering site. Of course, I will modify it a bit to work perfectly with the BlogEngine.Net.

2 weeks nosebleed

Nosebleed. It is a term when someone find it hard to speak using English language.

About a month ago, our clients abroad visited us for a 2-weeks meeting and discussion about the system we are developing. And us, as a not-well english language speakers got a nosebleed. Whew!

24 hours continuous working

Just today I went from a 24 hours continuous overtime work. I started from Sunday 10am awake up to Monday 11am. But some of my colleagues even spent 30 hours eyes wide open. The system we are developing required us to finish the modules for delivery this 12pm. That was too tiring. I really need a good sleep tonight.

1st day at the big "A"

well, it's my first day at the big "A". We just had an orientation the whole day and will going to have another one tomorrow. Today, they tackled about the history of the company, the methodology they have and some of their core values. Tomorrow, they're going to discuss the rest of the core values. It was exciting and fun and I learned alot from them. The food was also great. :)

I am just worried, though, to where I am going to be deployed. During my first interview, the interviewer told me that I will be deployed to one of their partner, which is partly owned by the big "M", but they did not specifically write it to my Onboarding Info Sheet. Hopefully, dun talaga kc I am hitting two birds in one stone, big "A" and big "M" at same time.

Raket - Billing and Reporting System

I and Mcgill got our first client. We are going to develop a Billing and Reporting System for a Freight Forwarding Company. The system is simple and the only hard part is data gathering. Our target delivery date is month-end of November. We might be working overnight every friday to finish the job.

We asked 60K for the system, 10k will go to the person who referred us.
